Keynote speaker: 
Rosann Corcoran, LCSW, Manager of CJE Counseling Services & the Linkages Program

In this session participants will learn:
  • Key concepts that define disability as well as the importance of being aware of disability language and culture. 
  • The factors that impact how open a family is to interventions of social service agencies. 
  • Possible treatment interventions for older adults and their adult child. 
  • Current policy issues that impact these families.
CEU's will be available for $10. Please bring your license number and check made payable to North Shore Senior Center or cash with you to the program in order to receive the certificate. North Shore Senior Center is approved by the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation to sponsor continuing education for social workers.
