Drive-thru to say hello!

Because of restrictions on the size of gatherings due to COVID-19, we will be unable to host our annual Brews & Bites event. Brews & Bites features local restaurants and breweries all while supporting adults with disabilities in our community.

Instead, we invite you to join us in a socially distanced way to support community this year. You are invited to the Independent Futures Drive-Thru! Don’t have a car? Don’t worry – we can accommodate guests who are driving, walking, and biking.

We hope you will drive-thru to say hello to us and continue supporting our inclusive community in Evanston.

What is included in your ticket?

In order to maintain social distance and limit wait times, we are hosting our foodie fundraiser differently than usual.

The gluten-free/vegan meal option includes 2 delicious Beyond Burgers, a side salad, a bag of pretzels, a piece of fruit, a cookie, a pickle, condiments, and a beverage of your choice.

The other 2 meals options come with the 2 meat entrees, a side salad, chips, a cookie, a pickle, condiments, and a beverage of your choice.

All meals come with a beverage of your choice. When you visit our drive-thru, we will ask what you would like: red wine, white wine, a 6 pack of beer, a non-alcoholic drink, or water.

Your to-go bag will also include coupons to some local restaurants that normally participate in Brews & Bites included in each ticket.

How do you purchase your ticket?

1. On this page, you are choosing to purchase tickets for the 12:00 – 1:00 pick up time. To choose the 1:00-2:00 pick up time, visit this page.

2. Now, you will choose whether you need a single ticket, couples ticket, or participant ticket.

3. Next, choose what meal you would like. Couples tickets should choose 2 options. If you are purchasing multiple tickets, please clear your selections each time you click ‘add to cart.’

What do you do the day of our Drive-Thru?

On Sunday, July 26th, arrive anytime between your chosen time slot. When you arrive, we will pull up your order and check in with you, and then we will bring your order out to your car. After that, you can take your meals home or have a picnic at the park!
