Calling all writers! Are you looking for a place to share poems you’ve written? Then join us at Poetry Plus!
We will meet on Wednesdays from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM on Zoom. Our first half hour will be optional – if you’ve got writer’s block or just want a new idea to work on, you will receive a poetry prompt and have a little time to begin crafting your new poem. We will start the sharing of poems at 7:00 PM. You may read your poems yourself or you can have someone else read them aloud for you. Jeny, the facilitator, will gladly do it! After everyone who would like to share their poetry has had a chance to do so, and if we have time left, we will then open the meeting up for participants to share anything they’ve written that is not poetry.
The sessions will be held via Zoom on Wednesdays from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. The dates include: April 3, 10, 17 and 24, May 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 and June 5, 12 and 26.
Please note that we will not meet on Wednesday, June 19.
